Deployment Project Supervisor

Working pattern: 37 per week; Monday to Thursday 07:45 – 16:15 & Friday 07:45 – 12:45. Flexibility will be required for offsite/offshore deployments.

Salary: circa £45K – £50K + deployment allowances

Job description

To support the growth and development of Integrity Management services by providing effective leadership and management of specialist field service teams on deployment ensuring every job is delivered in a professional and profitable manner with a high level of customer service. Ensuring safety of the team is paramount, as is the method of delivery via a flexible and high integrity team. To drive profitability improvements for in-situ services through effective deployment scheduling and increased utilisation of teams. To plan, recruit and train sufficient resources to meet the demand for in-situ deployments.

Responsibilities

This is not an exhaustive list, but is a general guide of the main duties of the role:

  • Project manage deployments either on site or remotely from the CSC main site.
  • To ensure daily activities and pre and post deployment requirements such as costings / risk assessment / method statements / reporting are completed in line with the requirements.
  • Develop the operational deployment team skills for optimum flexibility and achievement of business goals.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are prepared for and followed whilst planning and executing a deployment and ensure an auditing routine is in place to demonstrate compliance by the team.
  • To ensure that operations are carried out in accordance with company and customer site HSE policies, helping to protect the safety and wellbeing of all stakeholders.
  • To understand and generate in-situ based work procedures, routings and processes. 
  • To take responsibility for the planning and execution of work by field service teams ensuring it is carried out in accordance with company QA/QC procedures and in a timely manner, whilst not compromising professional completion.
  • Demonstrate high-level skills and capabilities in the testing, fault finding and repair of operational equipment, including high-pressure pneumatic and hydraulic systems, vacuum and pump assemblies etc.
  • To visit customer sites and provide a work package breakdown of components, labour, parts, tools and requirements required and assist the sales process.
  • To provide an effective interface and assistance to internal and external stakeholders of internal functions ensuring their recognition of the importance at design, installation, periodic inspection and test and for general product support.
Successful candidates will need to meet the following
  • Mechanical Engineering Level 3 (minimum requirement)
  • Knowledge and use of P&ID/GA drawings and implementation of two-valve isolation / LOTO.
  • Experience of calibration of pressure relief valves.
  • Experience of building and connecting temporary pipe manifolds and vent lines on high-pressure gas systems.
  • Experience of reading and understanding technical drawings.
  • Strong Team Leadership and People Management skills.
  • 5+ years of experience in relevant aspects of cylinder and tube related test, inspection and refurbishment services within factory and in-situ environments (desirable)
Role specific compliance requirements include but are not limited to the following
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
  • Pass the BPSS security check
  • Maintain an up to date and valid passport with the necessary time remaining to enter various countries around the world
  • Do not have restrictions preventing you from entering any countries or being able to get a visa. 
  • Certified as fit to work off-shore following off-shore medical arranged by the Company.
