Design Engineer
Amy joined our apprenticeship programme and has progressed quickly learning new skills and is now enjoying her role as a design engineer within the defence sector team. Her dedication to learning and contributing to impactful projects highlights the opportunities that our apprenticeship programme provides. As a result she has been involved in our recent hiring process of our current apprentices.

HR Advisor
April is the HR Advisor for the business. Our people are a fundamental part of our business performance and growth. Training and developing our workforce is a key part of Aprils’ role and during her time at CSC she has improved the fundamentals of training & competency within the business to underpin a trajectory for a multi skilled workforce to aid the competitiveness of the business. Her approachable attitude makes her very easy to talk to and is always helpful for colleagues to confide in.

Management Accountant
Scott has been with Chesterfield Special Cylinders since 2021 after being in our previous sister division of Precision Machine Components. He has built up excellent business knowledge of our products, customers and suppliers whilst also completing a CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting. As the business management accountant Scott works with the business to manage cash flow, analyse performance and develop improvement business cases to enable business growth through our customers.

Contract Office Manager
Ingrida is our Project Manager for the defence market sector. She oversees all projects in this market from commercial handover to product delivery and aftercare. Ingrida has the important job of being the voice of the customer in our business. Project planning, cost control and holding the operational teams to account for schedule adherence promises are all part of Ingrida’s day to day activities.
